How do you get past a failure?

No matter how great we are, we all make mistakes. When they happen, we must recover and move on.

If the failure is something where you let a person down or you violated and compromised your integrity, you must ask for forgiveness before it is possible to move on.

But if you did all you could with the best of intentions, there are no failures – only results. If the result is good, we call it victory. If it isn’t, we call it learning.

How do you get past a failure of yours? No matter how great we are, how good we are, we all make mistakes all the time, and we create failure. We cause failure to happen. When we do that, we need to recover and move on.

If the failure is something where you let a person down or you violated and compromised your own integrity, then you have to go back and make it right again, and ask for forgiveness. Only then can you move on.

If it is a failure where you did all you could with the best of intentions, with the highest integrity, then actually there are no failures. There are only results. If the result is good, we call it victory. If it isn’t, we call it learning.

When we learn from our mistakes, they are not repeated again. This is why it is so important to feel troubled about the failure. The human mind learns the best and the quickest under pain.

When we feel the pain of failure, that’s our body’s way of making sure that we learn for the next time, and that we get over it and we can move on to more success. And of course, more learning.
